Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between YT Metronome ("the Service") and its users in connection with the use of the metronome and YouTube synchronization features provided by the Service.
Article 2 (Effectiveness and Amendments)
- These Terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise made available to users.
- By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
- The Service may revise these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Material changes will be announced through the Service in advance.
- If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may stop using the Service. Continued use after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance.
Article 3 (Service Description)
- The Service provides a browser-based metronome as well as a feature that analyzes audio from a user-submitted YouTube URL and synchronizes beat data with the metronome.
- Analyzed beat data may be stored in the Service database and used for metronome playback. Users are not provided with a separate download or redistribution function for that data.
Article 4 (Usage Limits)
- To prevent excessive external API costs and system overload, the Service may limit the number of free requests based on IP address.
- If abusive traffic, automation, or other improper usage is detected, access to the Service may be restricted without prior notice.
Article 5 (Service Availability)
- At present, the Service is provided as a free web service without account registration or login.
- The features, scope, and usage policies of the Service may change as operational needs evolve. Important changes will be announced through the Service or by revising these Terms.
Article 6 (Access Restrictions)
- If a user violates these Terms or applicable laws while using the Service, the Service may restrict that user's access without prior notice.
- If automated requests, abnormal traffic generation, or attempts to bypass system restrictions are detected, the Service may apply IP-based restrictions.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
- The Service analyzes audio extracted from YouTube videos to provide beat-related data, but does not guarantee that automated analysis results will be 100% accurate.
- Users are solely responsible for any copyright or legal issues related to the original YouTube content they submit.
- The Service complies with applicable YouTube API policies. Features may be temporarily unavailable due to outages or maintenance affecting third-party infrastructure such as Vercel, Neon, or RapidAPI.
Article 8 (Intellectual Property and Data Rights)
- Rights to beat sequence data extracted and processed by the Service belong to the Service unless otherwise required by law.
- Users may not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or commercially exploit information obtained through the Service without prior authorization.
Article 9 (YouTube API Services)
The Service uses the YouTube IFrame Player API to play YouTube videos. Accordingly, users are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
Article 10 (Governing Law and Disputes)
